Atheists believe the existence of evil in our world is evidence against Christianity and if God were all-good, then evil would not exist. In doing so, they assume God created the world to be a safe, comfortable, paradise for humans. However, the overall plot of the Bible paints a different picture of God’s purpose for creating. In this talk, I will explain what the Bible says about God’s purpose for creating and how this purpose plays out in the events of the Bible. I will show that atheists are mistaken and that evil plays a major role in God’s plan for humanity.
