There’s no shortage of beliefs and theories about extraterrestrial life. People everywhere are looking for honest answers to questions surrounding UFOs (now officially called unidentified aerial phenomena or UAP), life on other planets, and space travel. How do we address these questions with the knowledge derived from our Christian faith? Join us for a compelling evening where we’ll explore these controversial topics with three qualified scholars and then invite the audience to participate in open Q&A.

Brian Huffling
What are the most likely and common explanations for unexplained aerial phenomena? How do we assess secret technology, the extraterrestrial hypothesis, the interdimensional hypothesis, and the demonic hypothesis? Dr. Brian Huffling will provide an examination of UAP, arguing that only a small percentage of the reports are truly unidentified objects. He will explain how the various explanations for UAP relate to the Christian faith.

Hugh Ross
In the last couple of decades, advancing technology has allowed us to learn more about our universe than ever before. Scientists have discovered thousands of planets orbiting stars other than the Sun, and this knowledge has led to even more questions. Are these planets habitable? Does life exist on any of them? How far can humans travel through space? How do we learn more? Dr. Hugh Ross will unpack these questions while providing the latest data on the plausibility of habitability and space exploration.

Fazale Rana
The laws of physics rule out interstellar travel across the universe’s vast distances, making it unlikely that any life-forms are visitors from another star system. But isn’t this conclusion valid only for life as we know it? What if the aliens are different forms of life that we have yet to discover? Dr. Fazale Rana will offer technical reasons why any putative physical life in the universe must be based on water and carbon and why it must be just like life here on Earth.
