Olin is a native of South Carolina and grew up in a Christian home, but did not come to know Christ as his personal Savior until later on in life. After graduating high school in 1983 with no further plans of continuing his education, it became evident that God had other plans. On December 17, 1998 Giles committed his life to Jesus and immediately had a hunger to learn and grow in his faith. This eventually led him to further his education at Southern Evangelical Seminary and Veritas International University. Today Olin has a heart for Muslims and a strong conviction to see the American church equipped and ready to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with followers of Islam.
